About Me
My name is Joy and I'm excited to find this community and learn from all of you! I'm 31 years old, married with a wonderful 4 year old son, and 2 big lab mix dogs that run the house. I have a passion for real estate and a strong desire to become financially independent. I've been studying, mentoring and procrastinating (haha) when it comes to investing for about 2 years now. I've finally decided that I've learned as much as I'm going to without actually going out and doing it; so that is what I'm doing!
I've been doing this for about 1 year now - and since December 2007 full time. I'm highly organized and extremely sharp when it comes to this industry, I'll do whatever it takes to succeed.

My Business
I have background in construction, as well as sustainable ("green") building & remodeling practices.
I have an LLC that I do all my business under and we take on rehab projects in the Chicago suburb area. I use private investment money for my deals - finding it easier and faster to do deals than dealing with banks at this point. I am always eager to take on additional investors and I'm dedicated to helping everyone around me become profitable in this.
