A unique investment opportunity

I am a young single female looking for an investor for an idea for a home that I have been thinking about constructing. I am a current part time college student in the medical field. I will be hopefully making 50 to 100k yearly within the next 5 years. My goal is to create a home that is self sufficient and economical. The idea is to have the home be as green as possible to avoid high utility bills. The home will include an apartment for myself on the second floor and 8 to 12 rooms for rent, which I will be renting to the local members of the Navy here in Norfolk. The money generated from the renters will pay for the construction of the home. I also would like to include amenities that will attract renters. These will include a large fenced in back yard, swimming pool, gym, and game room, bar, laundry facility and off street parking. Valerie, welcome to a wonderful community of other real estate investors like yourself. Glad your here with us! I like what you wrote about your future plans for your green living style home. It's nice to hear when people are green conscious when it comes to new home construction. It sounds like you have a terrific plan. It's also good you wish to both pursue your medical degree and plan invest in real estate along the way.
