Well I don't know about you but, I would go as far as to say I'm here to create the best life I can for my family because they deserve it. I'm not a piece of cake to live with I know that and I'm always working to improve, but when you have a girlfriend and newborn baby girl (essentially a brand new family) in front of you making excuses is not an option for me. I am not destined to work as a security guard, as an employee and barely make it all my life. I'm am destined to start my own business and invest the profits to secure my future for my family- end of story.
Before your start, find your "Why" your "Reason" for doing this. What do you want out of this? This why will carry you through the dark times when things aren't always going your way, come back to your why and it will motivate you, it will create that burning desire inside you that will never let you give in, and never let you give up. No matter what.

Systemize Your Business
Automate and Outsource everything as soon as you possibly can! This will save you time and energy that you may spend on tasks that are "time wasters" and are not productive. Here are a few that I recommend:
1. Your Marketing the lifeblood of your business needs to be outsourced and delegated to someone else. If your running direct mail I suggest www.Click2Mail.com this service will print, stamp, mail each piece you create for them. You can upload your own or create one on their website, it's a very useful tool. Especailly if your downloading lists, just upload them and off you go, your in business!
If your running on-line postings to classified ads and sending emails to build your buyer's list your limiting yourself. This is a great way to build your business don't get me wrong, but what if you could automate the process of your on-line marketing campaigns on multiples websites like Craigslist and Backpage. I was turned on to this when when I was 18 years old and still in high school. My oldest brother Brian gave me and my brother the a book, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I didn't read it at first, a month or so went by until one day I decided to because I knew I wanted more out of life.
From that day, I have continued to be a student always learning from the experience and wisdom of others. I take pride in my library and all the books I read to build it. Here are a few of my favorites;

These are the books that have pulled me through the tough times and created a fire that burns inside me and will never die. Let me explain.
Out of High school I got married to my Prom sweetheart and I have my baby girl on the way. She wasn't going to entertain adoption and was set on keep Sarah when she arrived. So at this point I made a choice. I choose to be a dad and marry her because I wanted a family and I wanted my baby girl to have her Mom and Dad in her life, unlike my childhood when my parents divorced each other when I was 8.
Ever since I had my little girl (Sarah) when I was 19, I decided I wasn't going to be a workaholic dad and miss out on my kids lives. I don't look for a career or a high paying job because I'm not going to work for someone else. I am starting my own business that will give me the financial and time freedom to live the way I choose and my children are my motivating factor in my effort to make this a success. Because I am not doing this to make money so I can buy toys and live the high life. I am doing this so I can be a quality Dad to my three kids, a just be there for each of them. That is my reason and why for getting involved in Real Estate Investing.
This is the best market to create wealth in real estate and it's just getting better. These challenging economic times are creating more opportunities to buy at a discount or get your terms accepted. But this is only a window and it will close. Successful people prepare themselves for opportunities so they can act!

We are based out of Colorado Springs in El Paso county. My primary at business at this point is wholesaling discounted contracts to my buyers for an assignment fee. I don't work with listings at this point but instead I focus on tracking my marketing efforts and where all my leads are coming from. I use Real Quest Pro to analyze, research and get accurate comparables on my properties very quickly. This allows me to prepare and make an initial offer while I'm on the phone with the seller.
I work with my wonderful partner and future wife in this business, we are a team. She is experienced on the phone and loves talking with people. Her work experience is call centers and customer service jobs and she loves it! I am so proud to have her on my team she is a great asset and will bring us much success because of her ability to get the customer to trust and like her over the phone.
People do business with people they know, like and trust. You must become that person when speaking to the seller. Seek first to understand. Use empathic listening and don't project your own auto biography on them!
