About Me
I am a Real Estate Investor. I have been in real estate for over 30+ years. I have seen all kinds of markets in Chicago real estate.
I bought my first property when I was 18 years old, but being like most young people, I was not very intelligent of the road I was on. My father was very smart and would not let me buy a car(depreciating asset) til I bought a house(appreciating asset). I bought a 3 unit and the cashflow that I made from the property, paid for my new car payment and the gas to go in the car every month, when gas was much lower than it is today.
At one time I owned 116 units, in about 20 buildings. I have carried mortgages for people and have had people carried mortgages for me, so I know a little about real estate. I learned many lessons in real estate the hard way. Check me out at tonyscimeca.com
