I'm 35 years old, engaged, and have a 16 month old son.  Currently living in Seattle, because Washington is so beautiful, but origionally came from Southern California.

I found this site through Chris Daigles, EasyHUD.com, and I like it so far, but can't wait to see what it grows into.

I do computer programming, and have dabbled with internet sites, but mainly I do database administration and report writing.  I'm currenlty doing a short term project with "a multi-national software giant on the eastside" (quoting what recruiters put in all their job postings when they mean Microsoft, it's funny and I don't know why they do that when everybody knows who they mean, probably some legal thing).

I'm hoping to get hired on at ClearWire.com, where I've already had 3 interviews.  For those who don't know who this is, they provide high-speed internet service (an ISP), and the unique thing about them is their technology is wireless.  You get a box that is very similar to a wireless router like anyone might have if they are a cable internet subscriber, and you plug that into your computer - or wireless router, and plug it into your electrical outlet, but the box sends and receives the internet much the same way as cellular phones work.  So basically, anywhere that they have coverage you can take your clearwire box and have high-speed internet access.  I've included this here in the "about me" because I"m excited about possibly being hired, but I also found their job postings when I was signing up for their service.
