My Details
Looking For
people who would like to have at least $500,000 at retirement, without any change in life style or cash flow.
About Me
I am a 68-year old U.S. Army veteran and real estate investor. I graduated from Whittier College following 4 years of army service in 1965, and then got graduate degrees from USC and Harvard before getting my J.D. degree from Harvard Law in 1973. I no longer practice law. My goal now is to cruise in overdrive. My book on how average Americans have doomed themselves has just been published: None Dare Call It Reason; How the Average American Has Hanged Himself.
My Business
Let's face it, the rules of the game have changed. No one knows when, or in what markets, real estate will rebound. At my age, I have little tolerance for risk. So, I'm buying life insurance policies from those with terminal illnesses. There is no diminution in dollar value (as with real estate and stocks), the investments are safe, the return is much, much better than average, and it receives very favorable income tax treatment. Is such a thing possible? Is it too good to be true? In point of fact, it is too good to ignore. It works. Contact me. I'll give you the info.

Anfisa, clearly, very clearly, the rules of the game have changed. Real estate is in distress. Loans are difficult to come by. The economy is in the toilet. However, for the past nine years (in addition to real estate), I have been investing in life insurance policies, buying policies from those who have terminal illnesses. This is an investment that does not have exposure to diminution in value (as with real estate or stocks), has a greater-than-average return, and has remarkably favorable income tax treatment. Because of the situation, I have put my real estate activities on hold.
No one knows when the real estate market will turn around, or to what extent. Same can be said for the stock market. It is a new day with a whole new set of parameters.
