I am happily married to a wonderful and supportive godly man. We own Key Sign Co. and he loves running a very busy business. We have 2 teen age boys and a beautiful Siberian husky named Isaiah.

I've worked at home most of my life as a free-lance artist painting portraits and master's reproductions in oil as a realist. I was brought up in an atmosphere of real estate as my parents were very successful rehabbers and owning income property over 30yrs. 

 

My Business

With so much going on in today's market I'm now working Short Sales and looking to establish long term business relationships with Real Estate Agents who want to represent my properties. I WILL BRING MY AGENTS LEADS & SEO FREE!

This gives the homeowner a fair chance to stay in their home before turning the property over to someone else.(What I don't like is all the talk I'm hearing about loan mod scams, this really bothers me, because the company I represent will work on a loan modification to the full satisfaction of the borrower - or they owe the company NO FEE!) No up front fee and compliance in all 50 states.

All the Gurus out there are “teaching” technique, because it provides plenty of material to sell to aspiring investors. The real players buy from the banks. It’s quite simple, but you need cash.

I am a landlord buy & hold type of guy out in Central Mass in the Gardner - Athol area. Don of DWS Properties is also about to take the plunge I 'm pretty sure in the Lowell area for multi-family units.

You are coming into the market at the right time as a buyer. Flipping might be a little tough right now because it's harder to get financing for buyers. If you can do a wrap around lease option or something like that with a tenant who wants to rent to own, you may find some great success in the wholesale arena.

You also have the advantage of great support from your folks who have been doing this for a long time. I'm sure they would love to see you do some deals and give you the best advice that has your best interests in mind. Happy hunting.

Hi Renee, and welcome to the site.  There are a few of us from Mass on here. 

I am eager to hear about your experiance with the mentoring program.  I looked into one out here by lowell, but for the money they wanted I would rather put it towards a downpayment. 

Not sure if your going to focus on wholesaling in south central MA or northern RI area only, but if you do hear of anything in the 2 - 4 unit range in the Greater Lowell area let me know.
