My Details
Looking For
Other new investors in the central Ohio area. When I relocate there in late 2010, I'll be plugging into the REIA clubs around town, but I'd also like to meet other like-minded investors, especially the ones just starting out like I am. I'm sure we could learn from each other and help each other out through our ventures.
Other Interests
I enjoy world-travel (both with the military and without!), NTN trivia, watching Jeopardy, fishing, OSU football games, and marathon running.

About Me
When my military contract ends in November, 2010, I will be relocating to Columbus, Ohio to begin real estate investing. I plan on starting graduate school in late 2011, pursuing an MBA degree.
I attended The Ohio State University from 1996-2000 and I currently hold a BA in Communications. I have been very fortunate over the last several years to have made investments in the stock market that have paid off nicely. I now want to take the money that I have earned and re-invest it into REO's and other foreclosure properties.
My investment strategy will be a mix of buy and hold, rehab, renting, and/or lease options. In addition to purchasing a primary residence in central Ohio, I intend to purchase my first 2 investment properties before the end of 2011.
I am currently putting together a team of sub-contractors, legal and accounting experts, real estate agents, and other private-money lenders to get this venture off the ground.
If you are in the Columbus area and would like to pool resources or information, I'd love to sit down for lunch sometime. I'm NOT looking for wholesale leads or buyer lists, or any other ploy to get my money at this time, so don't bother.
I don't mind posts to my profile either, but if you're just advertising your fool-proof secret to real estate, I'm not interested. There is plenty of free information already available online if you know where to look. If I wanted a guru, I'd go to India.

Hey Craig,
Hope all is well!
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that REI Lead Tracker is finally complete (it took me forever). It's marketing tracking software for any real estate professional - geared more towards an investor, but anyone that spends money on marketing/advertising could get tremendous value in using it. It helps to measure lead generation, closed deals, and marketing expenses so you, the investor, is able to maximize profits and save time and money.
Right now I'm marketing it as a FREE giveaway so I can get some feedback and hopefully a few more testimonials before I decide whether or not to charge for it. You can find details and download info at http://REILeadTracker.com. Maybe you or someone in your circle of investors could find value in it.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing about your success,
Koby
