                One Day Funding

I own One Day Funding, which provides transactional funding so you can close your back-to-back real estate deals.

One Day Transactional Funding is used when you have a real estate deal that you need to close and you will be re-selling that same deal to another party that same day. The entity that you are buying it from needs you to provide the funds when you purchase it. When you re-sell it in a second closing that same day, you will then have the funds to re-pay the person or company that provided the funds in the first place.

I have been investing in real estate for the last couple of years, focusing on short sale transactions and buying houses subject to the existing mortgage. This experience spurred me to form One Day Funding since I saw a real need for transactional funding services. Prior to investing and providing funding, I had had a successful record of past business ventures.

The last business I owned was Webster Group International (WGI), where I served as the President and CEO. WGI provided Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services that guaranteed our clients would rank in the first 10 positions on the search engines. Formed in 1995, it literally was one of the first three SEO companies in the world. In 2001, WGI was named by Deloitte and Touche as one of St. Louis’ “Technology Fast 50”. This award is given to technology companies that have shown the greatest growth over the previous 5 years. WGI was awarded 5^th place out of 50. We also were ranked #369 in the national Deloitte and Touche Fast 500.

I sold the company to a British firm called Tempus Group in 2000 and stayed on as President and CEO until 2002. In 2001 Tempus Group was bought by WPP, the largest advertising, marketing, & communications company in the world. WGI served as its online arm to provide marketing and advertising services to its clientele via the internet. WGI was rebranded as Outrider in 2001 and remains in business today as one of the premier search marketing firms in the world.

While operating WGI, I also developed a software product called SitePromoter, which allowed individuals and businesses to create their own Search Engine Optimization marketing campaigns for their own businesses or web sites. This was also sold with WGI.

Prior to forming WGI, I created a software product that was designed specifically to help organize the business of those involved with selling Pampered Chef®  products, which is a home party business that sells all types of kitchen products. This software was subsequently sold to the corporate offices of the Pampered Chef®, where it was used by their consultants and directors nationwide.
