About Me
I'm a retired occupational/environmental health &safety consultant. This work included conducting building hazard inspections. I still do some part-time consulting.
I was raised in the residential construction business and was co-owner of a remodeling business. I also have bought, sold and rehabbed houses for personal use. After retirement, I began studying real estate and investing, looking for a new career path and venture.... and to fund my adventure travels/sea kayaking.
Besides real estate investing and adventure traveling, I'm raising one of my granddchildren...a soccor mom - again.
My Business
My venture is Carlton Investment Properties, LLC, in honor of my father Carlton F. Wood, a superb craftsman builder and civic leader in Los Gatos - Monte Sereno, CA.
For 2010, I'm expanding my wholesale business to include all types of transactions in the Portland, OR metro areas (Washington, Multnomah and Clackamas Counties). I'm also studying commercial real estate.
I look forward to meeting other investors, networking and sharing this great adventure.
