Well getting into this whole mortgage note scam thing always stirs up the stuff.

This is great fun, I have attempted to be take it slow with this whole thing because the banks and the government have made it complicated to keep you in the dark.

I am providing a link here to a document on a pdf file, written by a CPA which goes into great depth as far as your note, the 2 sets of books the bank keeps, your rights and how you can offset everything to enjoy free and clear title to YOUR home. Enjoy http://bit.ly/7M0TYP... continue reading >>

How Mortgages Are Funded

Have you have ever used a financial institution to borrow money to purchase property? Did you ever wonder or think about where the money came from to fund the "loan"? You probably just assumed that you signed this "promissory note", then, the bank you "borrowed" from took money they had on hand and paid off the person who sold you the property. Obviously, you should at least know by now that the bank could not have gone back into the old vault and just grabbed up $100K or $200K, and handed it over to the seller because... that would be... continue reading >>

Total Mortgage Purge

I do multiple short sales here in Las Vegas, NV and with the current economic climate, I have been doing a lot of research into other options that homeowners may have to help them to either stay in their home, and/or to recover some of their lost equity. Here in Las Vegas, unless you massively paid down your mortgage, you are definitely upside down in value, that's a given. Loan mods are a joke. I know there a some programs that have had some success, for some owners, but, for the most part, you can't argue with the statistic that... continue reading >>

Warning: Do Not Read Think and Grow Rich!

Oh, oh that usually grabs some attention. I'm serious why would you want to read Think and Grow Rich, when it is just the totally watered down version of Napoleon Hill's first book The Law of Success in 16 Lessons. I love Think and Grow Rich, I first read it at the age of 18 and it really did affect my thinking. I just wish I had known about Hill's other book back then. I have read Think and Grow Rich many times, and I have always felt the Hill was leaving something out. Well, he was...

Webinar ‘Gurus’ Love to Exaggerate

By mrshortsale

Just a quickie here guys. I know that my business is short sales, and I know my business very well. I have gone off before about how all these guys that are teaching real estate investing courses and the guys with the internet marketing courses (the so-called “Gurus”) have been cross promoting their databases to death. On top of all of that this marketing tactic that they use, the ’scarcity’ tactic, where they try to tell you that seats are running out, or that people were not let onto calls because there were... continue reading >>

Short Sale Disclosure, Beware

I would just like to add to Nick McCully's comment to my last blog post about Short Sale Seller Caution. Nick makes an excellent point about disclosure. What I would like to add is that, even with all the disclosure and CYA's etc., you still really have to feel out the personality type of the seller you're dealing with. The reason is because, later after the deal is done, they get to talking to a family member or friend or whomever, and somebody puts a bug in their ear that they were taken advantage of and they should sue. Great,... continue reading >>

I just want to start out by saying that I love all of you, and I respect each and every one of you for what you do as investors. The media puts such a negative spin on what we do as investors, and yet 99.9% of the investors that I personally know, are working with the highest of ethics and moral standards. One reason for this is that anyone who is anyone in this field has been mentored by people who have really made it in this business, and just about everyone of the big "Gurus" that I personally know,... continue reading >>
