Real Estate Investor Home

I have been happily married for for 33 years and have two sons.  I grew up on a dairy farm and have been a school teacher for 35 years.  Our family continues to own a small farm that I help to manage.  My wife, who is also a teacher, and I became interested in rental property as a means to help raise funds to help pay for college expenses for our sons.  Family continues to be our most important priority and establishing a family business of which we can all be a part is very important to me.

My wife and I have been purchasing single family homes since 1987.  Our 2 sons have grown up and are also interested in the business.  We have bought for hold and rent several properties that we have rehabbed and then rented.  We would like to expand our business to wholesaling and/or rehab and sell.  We do most of the rehab work ourselves.  Our older son has extensive construction experience as well as a degree in construction manangement.  He handles most issues as well as assists with leases and rent collection. I would like to develop more cash flow and grow this business as I consider retirement from my teaching career and move toward a second career.
