I've not done a single deal as of yet. About 2 weeks ago, I mailed 3 "yellow" letters. Though, they weren't yellow, they were hand-written. These were abandoned properties in my small town that I've come across in my search for "investor specials."

I got 1 response. All I need to do now is just find out how to go about helping her, and learning something influential out of this experience. I think she would be a short sale. But I didn't plan on the circumstances she introduced to me, so I'm not sure.

I met a bird dog today. She is also new. But she has confidence in me that has sparked my own confidence again. I hope we can work together in our journey to success in REI!

I watched the videos on Marcel Umphery's site today. And there was one thing he said that he was told once. When I heard him say it, it really adjusted something inside of me that I needed jolted. He said, "You need to get comfortable being uncomfortable." It's true! Failure comes when you let that fear stop you. Fear is the enemy. So, just get used to being uncomfortable.

I've done it for years working for others. Worried about what they have my tell customers to cover their rears, or having that sickening stomach when you have to call in because you or your child is sick. But, you suck it up and do it. Why? Because it's your job. Nothing different as a REI. It's responsibility. Suck it up, and git-r-done!

I really do wish I had a REI club here. But no such luck. I've even gone to the lengths of creating the FB and Twitter accounts to start the buzz of such. Nothing to write home about, but I believe if I stay on top of this, it will catch.
