There are people who dream of buying a place they can call home and look forward to buying bargain prices from foreclosed homes in Georgia and in some other areas of the country. With prices dipping lower than before, there are still those who have a hard time figuring out which one of the foreclosures houses they are supposed to buy. In the case of the Ozunas, their Christmas is expected to be merry and bright.

The foreclosed home near the 47th Avenue and Bethany home in Greendale, Arizona, has been vacant for years until just recently. A bank opted to donate the foreclosed home to Habitat for Humanity. The bank employees put in a great deal of their time and spent countless of hours fixing the home in a period of two months. A single mom, Lorenza Ozuna, was presented the keys at a celebration held on the 12th of December. She was so ecstatic with happiness saying, "I'm going to be here for at least fifteen years. This is home."

This fate could easily be yours too. The market is brimming with very affordable foreclosed homes in Georgia and in other states. This week alone, there are at least 28 foreclosed houses in Sandy Springs with price tags ranging from $134,000 to $3,225,000 and 458 condominium townhouses that you can buy for only $134,000 up to $890,000. The low rates can be attributed to the fact that banks and lenders want to recover their investment right away. Aside from the benefit of lower price rates, the expenses and costs when making a transfer of ownership involving a bank is significantly cheaper than that of the regular deal. It is an easier deal to close since banks give potential buyers with lucrative financial arrangements.

As a prospective buyer, Vickie Stiel, a realtor, suggests that you should find foreclosures houses that are in a better condition. Inspect the basement structure, electrical, house heating and plumbing so that you will not have to spend much on repairs.
