I made a commitment to myself that today was going to be the first day of the rest of my life where I set out to change my situation. I realized that we all have a story to tell, and on some level want to be heard, successful, and remembered. This is my journey...I found out a couple of days ago my uncle lost his home to foreclosure. This home I'm sure meant the world to him because it was his first, it saw the birth of his only son, took him through two divorces and a Category 5 hurricane. What was so striking about this, is it made me realize that 1) this housing depression is affecting everyone on a personal level, and 2) I don't and will not fall victim to the same circumstances, because see I'm unemployed right now, my personal home is upside down, and I feel like I'm at rock bottom, so for me I have nowhere to go but up!
