I have recently discovered that randomly going about my day is really not the best way to run a business.  Was I absolutely busy for 12 hours straight?  Absolutely!  Did I get much accomplished and move my files toward closing?  Nope.

I've read all the books about time management and always thought forcing myself on a schedule wasn't possible.  Especially, since most of my business revolves around emails and phone calls (the biggest distractions).  Well, I forced myself to do a schedule for one week, and the effectiveness of that week was remarkable.  Believe it or not you can actually go without checking your email for an hour and still have your deals stay together, and even more forward more efficiently.
