Ok, does anyone out there have a solution as to how (if at all) you can input information on the contracts that are here in the briefcase or any that you have downloaded onto your 'puter???  Or am I just chasing a rabbit here?

I have this strange desire to organize my contracts in such a way that all I have to do is point, click, type and tab my way through a contract.  I have that compulsive disorder thing.... I tried to ignore this thing about the contracts but it has finally won!  I spent all day today trying to figure it out.  I know that it can be done, I did it years ago.  But just not sure how to do it now days......  I need to know if it can be done so that I can put it to rest or get 'er done!

In the mean time check out my bullitin that I posted after lookin' at MillionaireMind's Image board..... Now THAT'S Motivation.... LOL

And thanks..... for the feedback ('cause ya know ya just gotta say something about my crazy idea).

Thanaks guys for the response..... Brian, your way seems WAY to complicated... to many hoops to jump through!  LOL  But hay, what ever works for you!!!  Todd, you my friend is on the right page!!  I did however find out how to do what I wanted to do in Office.... there was a hidden button (that wasn't on the toolbar) my friend Lisa told me about it.... and it will allow me to do just what I want without having to go out and purchase any software!!!  Geeze, all I wanted to do was like you said Todd, put the text boxes in and set them to tab....Simple Simon!  :-)

Again, thank you both!  Be Blessed!

Todd has a point. Maybe you might want to try XLS formats (Excel is in the Microsoft suite where you will find Word too). You can then export to a csv file which is compatible with several types of mail merge program available out there. I use ProfitGabber which will allow you to customize letters, contracts, or any letter with data fields right from the csv files you upload into the system. Building a system is a great way to get started and stay organized. Have fun!!!

 Hi Cinde,

I do what you describe in a database program called Filemaker Pro.  I use it to auto generate contracts and letters.  I believe you do the same in Word by putting in text boxes, then setting them to tab.  Something to that effect, not exactly sure.

Not sure if this helps, hope it does.
