I've done nothing for the past 3 wks involving real estate b/c i was sick for the 1st two weeks and then last week i was all busy for getting a scholarship application fill out and done with. Yesterday, me and my mom went driving for dollars. It was the most successful driving trip we've had yet. I've just finished writing letters to the owners, but i'm still very sad that I've made pretty much no progress whatsoever. I'm beginning to doubt. I hate this feeling b/c real estate investing has been the one thing that kept me happy these past months, but to know that i've barely made any progress almost kills me inside. I feel so defeated. >.> I don't want to give up, but i feel like i might give in one of these days, if it continues like this. I haven't acquired anything since i started. :( i've also been jipped for ordering a lame, and expensive >:(  course type product which was a total rip off. That gets me down the most. I thought that we r.e. investors were all in this together, but i guess there still are a few bad eggs out there.

More teen ranting!! anyway, senior ball was really fun! I didn't get rejected, so it was great! WEll, actually, i got rejected at first, but then he changed his mind. (i'm still trying to figure that out...) I'm still hurting for that one whole day when i thought he just didn't like me, but now it's all good, despite the fact that my life has been filled with drama since the dance. >.> my best friend likes the same guy that i like...and the guy knows we both like him. ^_^;; it's rly messed up. He's rly stressed out b/c of it, and i almost feel bad for doing all this to him... but i suspect that he enjoys the ego boost.

There are a lot of bad eggs out there.  I saw on dateline that on of the guys who owned a sub-prime mortgage lender is now running courses to help people buy foreclosed properties.  Talk about taking advantage.  His company helped people buy houses they couldn't afford and now he is helping others buy them from the banks.

Anyway so much for my middle-aged rant, just keep plugging away. The fact that you have put in this much time shows you are serious about REI.  I does take time and that first deal can be real tough.

I am sure a lot of other less dedicated potential investors would have given up by now and declared the whole thing impossible.  You are sticking with it and sooner or later something will happen.
