In our lives we are so consumed with the internet and our cell phones, trying to scramble, network and get deals done.  I'm a hard worker just like many of you.  I have been working extra hard lately, feeling a little distant from my family...which is not a good thing. After all, they're the ones who will always be there for me.

I work a regular 8 hour/day job and get home and go straight on the computer and phone and sometimes even at my job I do the same thing getting deals done. The passion I have for investing and getting into real estate is addictive. We all have to once in a while take a step back and take it easy. Enjoy the more important things...like family and good friends.

I live in NY and we got about a foot of snow and today I got home early from work. I came home and my 5 year old daughter said "are you going to go on the computer and work now?" It hit me hard. I went to the basement and got out her sled and we spent the rest of the day in the snow. I have to say it was awesome!

We must manage our time wisely. Spend time with family and friends. Every once in a while put work on the back burner....just food for thought.
