Just last night my partner and I were out in Columbus banging up those bandit signs. We put up a little over 30. Not a bad night but it suddenly came to an abrupt end. It was about 1am and I was across the street banging up a sign when my partner yelled as he dropped his cell phone in a near by sewer. I laughed at first because I mean it was funny. Then I realized how mad I would be if that was my phone.

Well he was determined to get that phone and to do whatever it took. So we drove to a near by gas station to get some super glue. We then went home, got a 3 foot ruler and duck taped a sponge to the end of it. With things looking up like this might work, it just got worse. I went out to my car to try and put a nail into the ruler to make it stronger. As I stepped out of the car my door shut. Car locked with the engine on! We thought OMG could things get any worse. So I called AAA and they actually came in less than 30min. We immediately drove back to Cleveland and 2nd Ave (not the best part of Columbus) at 2:30am to try and get this phone. We put super glue on the end of the sponge and pressed it against the phone. It actually worked! We pulled up the phone, stuck our hand down there and got it! Boy was he relieved.

At the end of the night while trying to digest this whole event, we realized we had gone through some adversity. When things went from bad to worse we just let it roll of our shoulders and kept moving forward. I believe that no matter what happens in life, you must keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep moving.
