Recently I have had a hard time getting the short sales I am working on due to the lenders wanting a listing agreement included in the packet. As a licensed Realtor I figure that I can simply write up an agreement and specify no MLS listing on it. Here recently I received a request from a lender for a copy of the MLS listing instead of the listing agreement. Now it seems like they won't even consider a s/s unless the property has been on the market for 90 days. I have never had this much trouble before. What are the rest of you doing to get around it?
