Asked the secret to his success, Jim is quick to recognize the value of others. "To succeed", he says, "you must build relationships and recognize that you create your own success when you create success for others."
Bob Snyder:
From the time he was just a young boy, Bob Snyder has had big dreams and a deep-down, burning desire to see them fulfilled. He is a proven leader, with more than two decades of in-the-trenches sales and business experience and has achieved industry recognition as one of the country’s leading experts in team-building and marketing.
Like many, Bob experienced first-hand the down-turn on Wall Street and the evaporation of a lifetime of savings and retirement income. You probably have heard the expression, “necessity is the mother of invention.” Bob is living proof that with the proper motivation, wounded eagles can fly again; and losses in the market can be overcome through real estate. Mr. Snyder’s extensive background in sales and marketing has given him a unique insight into the world of real estate investing. As a result of applying his knowledge in real estate, he has been able to achieve more in just one real estate transaction than most individuals earn in an entire year of full-time work. Bob uses technology and common sense to find the right person for the right property, without enormous effort on the part of the investor. He brings fresh perspective to an old game, teaching his students to leverage their time, money and knowledge to create win-win outcomes for seller, buyer and tenant alike. To quote Bob, “Real estate is a people business; and people have problems that need a quick resolve. The better an investor is at offering solutions, the more profitable and successful they will become.”
Teaching fundamental philosophies for success, Bob has wowed audiences from Bangkok to Sydney and Chicago to Scottsdale. As a partner and co-founder of Nouveau Riche and The Real Market Experts Franchise Inc®, Mr. Snyder has developed a love for educating others on how to become financially secure through the wonderful world of real estate investing.
Charles Hosea:
When Charles Hosea came to the United States as a 10-year-old, he lived with his parents and four siblings in a one-bedroom apartment. Was this the lifestyle of opportunity that his father had described to him so vividly back on Tonga? “perhaps not,” Charles says. “Yet it was still an upgrade over our old coconut hut.” Although he didn’t immediately experience the prosperity his new homeland offered, that would come.
A New Beginning
Imagine Trying to explain snow to someone who’s always lived on a tropical island. That’s what Charles’ father did for him. “he’d seen pictures of it and described it as cold, white mud,” Charles says. “My father was a teacher who made $400 a year. He told us about a better life in America, where one could own a business, prosper and even enjoy a little white mud occasionally.”
There wasn’t any snow awaiting Charles’ family upon their arrival at their tiny new home in Hawaii, and the high cost of living sent a distinct chill up their spines. They ended up moving to Utah, as Charles’ dad struggled to get a landscaping business off the ground. “There was a difficult language barrier,” Charles says. “My siblings and I learned English and helped out with estimating and negotiating.” Through this experience, Charles not only learned about running a business, he also took mental notes about the professions of his dad’s well-to-do clients.
Justin Yates
When Justin Yates’ boss told him that to move up in the IT company he’d need to go back to school and get his master’s degree, he sacrificed two long, hard years to earn it.He went to night school, losing time with his family and spending his own money for the degree in Information Systems that his boss promoted would earn him a promotion. When he announced he’d earned his degree, Justin was shocked at the reaction.“My boss basically said, ‘Congratulations, now get back to work.’ It was a very discouraging moment,” Justin says. With his hopes of advancing in the company dashed, Justin decided that he no longer wanted to let someone else decide how much money he made.He began looking at every income-generating opportunity he could find–from existing businesses to franchises to multilevel marketing. In his search, he realized that either he didn’t have the capital to get started or that they weren’t going to be good businesses for him. Then he began hearing about an opportunity in real estate investing. After seeing an advertisement for Nouveau Riche, Justin attended a few company presentations. He fell in love with the concept of learning how to build long-term wealth in real estate and marketing the company to help others achieve their goals.
Chad Wade
Dissapointment. Frustration. Defeat. This dismal trio topped the list of Chad Wade’s endeavors for years. From disappointments in high school to a miserable stint in his dad’s business, Chad habitually fell just short of the prize. When he bottomed out with disappointment, he began a quest for a better life. That resolution sent Chad up the seemingly perilous steps of entrepreneurship, reaching his successful destination at Nouveau Riche University.
Fight or Flight: Things were off-kilter for Chad from the beginning. As a toddler, he received a severe electrical burn to his face, which, he says, “kind of set the stage for me to have a lot of issues.” In his youth, he says he sloughed off in school. “I tried to work hard, but I just couldn’t concentrate,” he says. “I would get frustrated and my mind would wander.” His inability to concentrate resulted in his not graduating with the rest of his classmates. He faced a similar fate in sports. “In high school, I came up one point shy of lettering in track,” he says. “I just didn’t excel at anything.”Then there was working in his father’s dry cleaning business, where misery all but consumed him. “I hated every second of it,” he says. Chad’s life plodded along like a less-dramatic version of a Shakespearean tragedy. In particular, Chad’s career choice formed a dark cloud over his life. “After high school, I could have taken some jobs that paid more, but I chose to help with the family business,” he says. “I slaved away day and night around the dry cleaning presses, dealing with endless hassles and customers. Life revolved around the next broken button, a symbol of my fractured life…
Cherri Tree
Before she began marketing Nouveau Riche products, Cheri Tree worked as a financial planner with another company. She was there for five years and worked hard, earning awards, promotions and trips. But when she took a look at her bank account, she says she realized that, although she was offering financial advice and services to others, she was broke. Then Cheri read Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad, a book she says opened her eyes to the opportunities of real estate investing.“It changed my life, because it taught me that poor and middle-class people trade time for dollars,” she says. “Rich people, on the other hand, learn to have dollars work for them through leverage. It also said that the best way to get rich was to become a business owner and a real estate investor.”It served as a wake-up call to Cheri, who had graduated from college as a recreation major, but entered the corporate world after realizing she couldn’t pay the bills as a white-water rafting guide. She even went back to school and earned her MBA, because she thought she needed it to be successful in corporate America.Eventually Cheri realized the corporate life wasn’t for her.
Look for the Right Opportunity
She began looking at other income opportunities and became involved with financial planning. The idea of investing in real estate stayed on her mind, and she spent several thousand dollars on a seminar promising to teach people how to make money in real estate.“Unfortunately, they turned out to be more in the business to get my credit card number than to help me become a real estate investor,” she says. “It just wasn’t taught in a way that made me think that I could go out and do it.”
and many, many more!!!!
