Fellows,

We are working on about 20 deals with ASC which is owned by Wells Fargo and I was wondering if you short sale studs were running into challenges with them. It takes us (on average) 30 to 45 days for our ss packages to get to a mitigator! The challenge with this company is the mitigators call you and there is no direct contact number to call them back. Anyone have a good contact within this organization? Feed back will benefit everyone!

Bob great question,I have several large attorneys  I deal with on a regular basis, that handle most of the South Florida filings.I will ask them if they have a contact there.

I have 2 accounts with them and I just have trouble with them getting my mortgage payment on time.  If I send it on the 3rd, they say they don't get it till the 17th or so... which of course, they add a late fee.  Everyone else posts there's by the 5th or 6th and all is well.

I found the the answer on dealing with ASC. Have you or someone in your office call every day. Step #1 fax in Authorization on day 1. step #2 call 2 days later to see if they received your authorization. After your authorization is on file fax your short sale package in. Make sure that you follow up everyday (after your short sale package is submitted) until they acknowledge they have your package! Thanks the trick to ASC.

Bob, I wish I could help you.  Great question though.  I'm curious to hear the answer.

Great Question Bob, I'm sure there's others that feel your pain and hopefully have a helping hand.
