So I m sitting here in front of the computer wondering one thing.
WHAT THE HECK AM I STILL DOING UP!
Truth is I honestly believe I am plagued with what some “psychologist would call mild insomnia." It stinks because I have been like this for many years now and not even Unisom helps. Yea I know break out the “damn I’m glad I’m not him” quotes but here is the way I look at it…. I am ALWAYS on the grind. I am constantly looking for new deals to wholesale, finding new inspiration and constantly motivating myself on pretty much a 24 hour a day basis. Here is a little bit about me.
My father is an “x” gangster from Puerto Rico and my mom was pretty much forced to marry him. Father migrated to Miami FL, to become a pastor of a church and they have been married for almost 30 years now! That’s awesome! My father never had the smarts when it came to the books but he did instill in me one thing that colleges will never and I mean NEVER teach.
You guys ready…….? Street smarts! The knowledge to hustle when the back is on the wall.
Please do not let the gel in the hair fool you. I grew up in a fairly decent neighborhood with not so fairly decent people. My father taught me the true meaning of hustling the streets. My mother tried to teaches us otherwise… She thought we would never learn anything from that kind of attitude so school was the place to be. To be honest school just wasn’t my cup of tea. I went to college for sound engineering and decided to gracefully bow out. That degree would go nowhere. I knew guys that worked for big labels that didn’t even know what two plus two equaled. But they did have street smarts... They hustled their way in. Now they make gooooood money.
This business to me works the same way…. Get property low and hustle them high (Thanks Jeff). Why else would Kenny Rush have a website called househustler.com? I am willing to do what it takes to join Colin in the $100,000 club. I deserve a better life for me and my son! I want to give back to my mom and dad for sticking by me through all of my teen adventures that should have cost those heart attacks. I owe it to God to show him that I am willing to reap what I sow and I want to sow big!
I am ready to learn, create, and teach. We were all born for a purpose. Let’s fulfill it!
My father said to NEVER be like him when I grow up. And so I am doing as I was told. Thanks pops for being my role model!
