The Whole Truth About Real Estate Investing

I know you probably came here looking for a bunch of secret tips and methods that the real estate experts use to make "the big money" in real estate.  Well, while I can and will give you a bunch of good tips, the truth is that none of them are great secrets known only to the wealthy.  I've revealed a bunch of things for you to look out for in the report "7 Traps of Real Estate Investing" but in my opinion, there is one secret that trumps all the rest and needs to be exposed.

The dirty little secret of the real estate investing world is that trainers around the country are selling their courses to people, quite comfortable in the knowledge that less than 5% of them will actually do anything with the information.  In other words, 95% of people will never do a deal and will never even recover the cost of that course, let alone become a successful investor.

It is my intent to change that.

You don't have to be just another statistic.  Another person that gives up and walks away from their dreams.  I want to see you use what you've learned, do your first deal, and go on to great things.

Scott,

A couch potato likes being a couch potato. You can lead the horse to water but you cannot force them to drink.

None of the information is hidden. Some people fail because they choose to do so. They enjoy buying the courses, going to the seminars and then taking the easy way out.

There is no way you can save all of them. Some need to waste the money and otherwise stumble before they take things seriously.

John Corey

PS. It is like being on a diet and knowing that you need to go to the gym. Something to ponder when knocking back more beer or ordering a really good dessert.

Colin,

Yep, it's cool that people have differing opinions.  Not sure exactly what you mean about the path and the map though.

Don't get me wrong, I believe that ultimately people must be responsible for their own education and success but I think more can be done to support and guide people along... sort of like after sales service.

Scott.

Hmmmmmm, I don't know if I completely agree with you on this. There will always be the folks that want something for nothing and if you provide them with the path but they don't take it, it's their fault. Continuing with the analogy, if people that have the path but offer to share the map then that's in my opinion not right.

People in this business will pay for education one way or another. Whether it's with time by spending it picking up knowledge bit by bit on sweet sites like this, by missing out on deals, or by buying products. There's pros and cons with all of them and people need to choose how they wish to pay but all of us pay, it's a part of the experience.

Regardless, still appreciate your involvement on here, good to have some experts around.
