Hello Everyone.

 

I am a bit tired today since I stayed up a bit too late last night getting some work done. I guess when you love what you do; you tend to over do it.   So this blog will be short, sweet, and straight to the point. No fluff and puff here folks so you will be in and outta here in a jiffy. 

 

So hope everyone is awake and well this lovely morning and lets get down to dissecting this quote and its meaning.

 

Today’s quote was said by our 26^th President of are beloved country, the USA. His quote is very powerful in its meaning.

 

If you think about it when has anything ever been done when there wasn’t a decision made? It is very true in real estate. If you find a deal yet you’re hesitant of the method you should use to purchase it, or of rejection to your low ball offer and do nothing, guess what, the next investor will snatch it up and make a killing.

 

If for some reason you end up making the wrong decision you still win. You win the knowledge of what not to do and you can always profit from that. This knowledge is far more valuable than the actual deal if you can ever believe that.

 

In the real estate world you also have to be a quick decision maker. Those that are slow will be missing on some great deals. Of course to be a quick decision maker you have to have the knowledge of the industry. One way, actually the best way, to having this knowledge is actually doing it. So if you are out there doing deals you are also learning in the mistakes you do.

 

It’s funny though that one wrong mistake can break you and create a fear to never want to do real estate again. Even though you still win in the end by learning the mistake it wont help you if a fear is built up to never use this new found knowledge.

 

So the first decision you should make when starting real estate is to get a mentor. This is someone that can guide you in your first few deals so you can have the mentality that you can do it.

 

If you don’t make this decision then make the decision that you will learn as you go but seek help when needed. But make a decision period. 

 

So to recap you need to make a decision and take action. By doing nothing you won’t ever get anywhere even if you are the brightest person on planet earth.

 

What good is knowledge if you don’t use it, right?
