I posted this in the marketing forum but it isn't drawing any responses so I thought I would post it here as well.
- What methods are the seasoned investors out there using to gather leads from the city halls or court houses? I know it will probably vary depending on the size of the cities you live around. Do you pay someone right in your office to go out and personally collect them? Do you collect them yourself? Do you wait til they hit the newspapers or local real estate papers? any other system? We are interested in developing a new system ourselves and are interested in hearing what is working for everyone else.
-thanks
Brian

i was going to the courthouses to personally do it, but haven't been for the last 3 months. i'm finding better deals on the REO side because their are so many foreclosures here in cleveland. i like going to the courthouses because i have a better known time frame in terms of when their going to the sale. the closer to the sale the more the banks and sellers seem to be pressed.
