Today was a real kicker!  Someone called who is really looking for a place to stay.  They want to move in my apartment, even though it's not even close to ready.  So, I rushed down this morning to clean up around the apartment, so their/my realtor could look at it for them and then rushed over to the trailer.

On the way, the carpet guy called to cancel our appointment tomorrow and I stopped in to throw the trash away from the apartment to get fussed out by the person working there that I throw too much stuff away.

Finally, at the trailer, I started working on the bathrooms to get the floors ready to put down the new vinyl that I got late last night from Steve.  I took off the toliets, except one bolt was stuck.  Then, I started putting down the glue on flooring that Mark gave me. That was a HARD job for a small space, but I got it done.

Then, off to the store for the RIGHT combination of knobs on the tub and back again.

Put the knobs on the tub, glued the shower that the guy I paid to fix, didn't do.  I put quarter round in the cracks of the shelf he didn't build right and repainted it all.  I also remudded some parts of the other bathroom that didn't get smooth.

Somewhere about 7-8pm, Mark came to help me put the floors down.  He told me not to tell anyone, but I have to say it.... he figured out the flooring and put it down faster than I could have even BEGAN the job.  We didn't have 1/8" to spare and he made it work for both bathrooms.

He raced back home and got the grinder to get that rusted bolt off the toliet and brought me back a toy that cuts the quarter-round at 45o angle.  I had only TWO pieces put in and he was totally done with the SECOND bathroom.  I put a few more pieces in before we decided to bolt the toliets back down and call it a night.  Danny fell asleep before we made it to the gas station and when I laid him in bed, I noticed that it was 1AM.

He did AMAZING for such a late night.  We both will sleep great tonight, but we have to hurry back in the morning because they ordered the moving van for tomorrow.  I was suppose to have till October 1st, but it's gotten cut short and I needed the days.  At least, the floors are down, toliets working and tomorrow I can try to get the sinks in and in place before they show up.  We will see how that goes.

It's been a LONG day.   Good night and I'll keep you posted on how the rest of the month goes!
