MY VERY FIRST SHORT-SALE IN ATLANTA,GA. My 10 year old daughter poses!I am finally back, to tell you more about the life of Mr. Short-sale. Once I began to understand as a 12-year old, that there was a better way of life, I began to plan me, my mother, & sisters escape! (You must understand that my mother was only looking for a way to keep her children from living on the street). I do not blame her to this day, for anything that we had to suffer! In fact, everything that I experinced has made me who I am today, but Let me get back to my story. I told my mother that we wanted to vist our birth father who lived in another city, her boy-friend complained, and became enraged. Because he knew that once we got away from his presence, he could no longer control us! Thank-God my mother finally stood up to him,( you must understand he was also abusive to her too), and she allowed us to go, (we had no intentions of ever coming back!) In my next blog I will tell what took place next! Stay tuned!

Wow! this is awesome and a blessing! I am glad that you were able to find your father and be able to get to know him more although that could be an emotional experience. Unfortunately, my father passed away while I was almost graduating from high school in 1992.  I had wanted to see him. My mother left him while we lived in Newark, NJ at the time, that was the last itme I saw him when I was 6.5 years of age. I never saw him again. The only way I knew he was dead was when I did a USA Search on him and in 24 hrs received the information. Gosh, information is fast!! So, if you have seen him, get to know him.
