This is day 2 of rehabbing the duplex (see day one if you are clueless what I'm talking about).

830am:  I wake the boys up and about 9am we are ready to roll.  They have the trailer hitched to the back of their explorer and I need to take them to town to buy 25 2x4's and sheets of plywood.  I take off in front of them and turn the corner, and get on the highway.  I'm looking and looking.. WHERE THE HECK did they go?  I pull over and wait a few minutes... they aren't behind me.  I wait longer.... nada.  So, I make a u-turn (OF COURSE) to see thm drive by.  This was the morning I had to forget my cell).  They pulled into the media and I catch up.  The wheels on the trailer are locked up and won't go anywhere.  Called the guy that owns the trailer and after about 25 minutes of backing up and looking for something in the drive shaft, etc... we found a place to park it.

11am:  New game plan.  Shane borrows his Dad's trailer (without asking first), and I have already gone to the store and bought the materials.  They show up later and load it up.  All of us meet back at the house.  The boys take off on another job they scooped up, tearning down a porch.

Dean and Tina have already dry walled a few walls and framed and hung the bedroom door. (it didn't have one).  They tore out the last of the ceilings and took all of the materials the boys stashed in the kitchen OUTSIDE, out of the way.

That was trip one. When I get back, I found out that they needed something else.  Back to the store again (keep in mind, MY little town has NO stores!).

12pm.. Back to the store for concrete leveler, tar and tough lock.  Danny and I sneak in lunch while we are in town.

2pm.  Back to the house, it's hot as a NC day can get (102o) in the sun!  I go back to my OLD house and load up the car full of tools and bring them back to organize in my new shed to help keep Danny out of the house while they are painting tar on the walls (we don't need a tar baby- even if we are the TAR HEEL state!).  and ooohh that smell!!!

330pm.  We are OFF again!!!  This time to Lowes.  I have the boys meet me from there job (still with the trailer) and this time we bring it home ourselves so we don't have to pay for delivery).  10 more sheets of drywall and 10 1x3x8 to frame up the doors.

Shane and Garrett reminded me of pay day tomorrow (of COURSE).. and they had errands before delivering my drywall sometime around 1130 last night!

Check out the pictures.. they are after Day 2.  Tell me what you think.
