The Desert is HOT HOT HOT

Date: 07/18/2007 / Category: Big Deals , Current Grade ?

I have found some properties here in my area that are ready to move -- and move in.  I will be posting photos of these jewels later today here.  If you are interested in Southern California (SoCal) property, I know we can work something out.  These are nice, big houses (2500-3500 sq ft) and they need very little work - landscaping is their biggest need.  None of them are more than 6 years old and banks out here are really REALLY willing to work short sales.

This morning, I found a piece of land for sale here in the Antelope Valley. I will post a photograph of the property on my photo page. If anyone thinks they might like to work up a wholesale deal on this one, let me know. It's got utilities running to it and is about 2.08 acres in size. Right now it is unincorporated land in Los Angeles County, but it is right between Palmdale and Lancaster with easy access to the main freeway and it is close to everything the AV has to offer.

This last week, I rented the movie The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith. One thing stuck out in my mind and it hit me so hard, that I placed it at the top of my profile page. He said that the Thomas Jefferson said in the Declaration of Independence that we are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I have a replica of that document framed and hanging on the wall of my office in my house. I have read that document many times and there is no place in... continue reading >>
