About Me
Hello to all and thank you for viewing my profile. I wanted to share with you why and how I ended up here on this site and how I believe that with a good network we can all help each other while becoming financially independent with real estate investing. I started taking an interest in real estate investing focusing mainly on foreclosures over 3 years ago. I was recruited by an owner of a company that claimed to have been doing this successfully. In time, I realized the company and its owners were less than ethical. Thank God I did not fall prey to the scam as many others did and got out as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth when it came to real estate investing and I instead continued with another business venture and left the world of real estate investing. I witnessed to many people getting hurt financially and emotionally to continue and although I did get an education on the foreclosure process from this group and I did know there was an ethical way to conduct business, I still decided to walk away. In all fairness, I have to say I did learn a good lesson from this group - that lesson being - what not to do.
Some months ago, I learned of a family member who was in big trouble and needed help. His home was in foreclosure and he did not know what to do about it. I took my former education and started contacting the lender on his behalf to help him out of the mess. I went over all of the options with him and his spouse and could find no other way of helping them other than attempting to find a buyer for the property and negotiate a short sale with the lender. This is something I have never done before. I began to look on line for help and found an overwhelming amount of information. In my pursuit to find the best way to accomplish my goal, I realized I had to narrow my education down to a few individuals as to not overload myself with conflicting information. I came across this site and Colin about 4 months ago although I did not use the tools and resources here until today! I must have come across Colin when I first started searching for answers to my questions online - I had so much information I got lost in it all! I listened to webinars, purchased ebooks, went on forums. I began receiving so many emails and I had so much information I could not organize myself well enough to benefit from it all. That is when decided to make a list of the coaches and investors whom I felt I could easily understand and follow. I weeded through a lot of material and videos and finally came up with a select few who have thus far met my criteria. If I could have a dream team it would consist of these very people I talk about on this page, including Colin.
My first order of business was to learn of how to submit a short sale package to the lender to increase my chances of approval. As I mentioned earlier, I found myself back in this business with the intention of saving a family member from foreclosure. I submitted a short sale package to the lender based on the guidance of the loss mitigation department for the lender. My proposal was not approved. I knew I needed to further my education from someone who was experienced and had been successful (and ethical) with short sale negotiations. I happened upon two people I have grown to respect. Their names are Cory Boatright and Chris Daigle. I did not even realizing they were members of this site until today. As I mentioned, I signed up as a member here while on my quest for education and finally found my way back here. All I can say, is I now know why my short sale package was not approved and have continued to get as much information from them as possible. Cory and Chris are cordially invited to be on my dream team! They have other areas of expertise as well, but I found their information on short sales to be exactly what I needed.
My main business goal will be to help the unfortunate people whom are in foreclosure to not loose their homes but there was so much to learn about loss mitigation, short sales, closings, etc. my head was spinning. I am still handling my responsibilities with the business venture I joined over 3 years ago and do not have the time to handle all aspects of this business while I am still involved elsewhere. That is when I found Justin Lee. I was so happy when I stumbled upon Justin and his websites. I have learned that I do not need to do everything on my own as that is just impossible. He has shown me a way to outsource my business so I could concentrate on speaking with those homeowners that are in need of my guidance. Since I am doing this part time for now, it is nice to know I do not have to be an expert at everything and spread myself so thin - what a relief for me! I am very grateful to have found the resources that are offered by Justin along with his informative webinars and websites. It will make it possible for me to build my business up and not killing myself in the process. Justin, if you ever read this, the pay sucks, (for now) but you too are invited to join my dream team!
Next on my agenda is to learn all about wholesaling. Read on about my business to learn of the next person I would love to incorporate into my dream team! I know I can't afford him but I will still ask...you never know!

My Business
I am in the process of putting together a team of people to help assist me with my new business of real estate investing (in addition to my dream team). As mentioned, I will be concentrating my efforts on helping people who are in foreclosure by guiding them in the right direction. I hope to keep those people in their homes by providing them with the best possible advice on how to save their homes. I will also be purchasing homes that may inevitable end up at the auction sales, by negotiating short sales with lenders. These homes will become part of my portfolio which I will market to wholesalers and other investors. As you know, I like to give credit where credit is due and I found a great coach to follow and learn from with regard to wholesaling. That person is Preston Ely (a.k.a. Disco Dan) As far as I am concerned he is the man and by listening to his webinars and reading his humorous emails and ebooks I know I can learn exactly what I need from him in order to help me succeed with wholesaling. His story inspired me to keep going and I hope to one day inspire others to do the same. His e-books are informative and right to the point. I know I will learn a lot from him and as I said - he is funny and keeps things light - I enjoy that!
As of now, I am working with a group of investors that are looking to purchase package deals on discounted properties. If anyone has investment opportunities (0.50 -0.65 on the dollar) Please let me know and hopefully we can work together!
