About me
I grew up in Vancouver, BC and went to high school there before I moved away from home and went to Penn State. After getting my degree, I lived in Washington, DC for 10 years. I started out in telecomm, and worked my way up the ranks during the telecomm boom of the late 1990s. In 2000 I landed my best job yet, but then found out that all of my prospects for the switching equipment I was selling were all going bankrupt!
I had the incredible experience of getting laid off outside the train station in Newark, NJ a week before Thanksgiving in 2001.
I took the rest of the year off to relax and enjoy the holiday, and in January of 2002 my then girlfriend, Dreama, asked me what I would be doing right now if I wasn't dating her. I replied that I would love to travel SE Asia. She decided that being a lobbyist could wait, and she quit her job, and In March of 2002 we left DC to travel SE Asia (Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia).
Dreama is now my wife!
Getting back from Asia, I got into the mortgage business, which opened up the doors to creative real estate.
I began doing a ton of research and reading on creative real estate, and decided that I was going to give it a shot and spent some of my hard earned income from originating loans on my creative real estate investing career.
I knew that I needed to start marketing, so I purchased 100 bandit signs and hung them up. I absolutely hated it, hammering signs into telephone poles was not my idea of fun on a weekend.
!
Luckily for me, about a week later, I got a call from a seller who was facing foreclosure and her husband was having his wages garnished by the IRS.
I purchased the home subject to, and then resold it 1 month later for a $27k profit! I was hooked, and the rest, as they say, is history.

My education
After high school, I got a BA in both Economics AND History at Penn State University. As I like to say, I got an education in the history of how people and businesses both made and lost money!
My real estate education is varied. I have studied under Richard Roop, Dan Doran, Ron LeGrand, Ben Pargman, Thomas Kish, Scott Scheel and most recently Matt Bacak, just to name a few.
I am always interested in further developing my education, so if you have a recommendation about a course or boot camp, I would love to hear about it.
Conversely, if you want my opinion on other people's courses, feel free to message me!

My websites & my company
www.MotivatedSellerLeadsForFree.com (free motivated seller leads delivered to you via email!)
www.BestForeclosureSystem.com (free marketing tips for investors)
www.REIMarketingTips.com (for investors)
www.OutsourceLossMitigation.com (help homeowners save their homes, make money, without doing any of the work)
www.SaveMeFromForeclosure.com (for homeowners)
www.AbsoluteHomeSolutions.com
(for homeowners in Washington state, specifically Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish counties)
Our national company, www.SaveMeFromForeclosure.com specializes in helping homeowners understand ALL of their options when faced with foreclosure. I started this out as a local service in Washington, DC when I realized that most investors, when marketing to PreForeclosures, could only help the homeowner by buying their property-at a discount.
But what about those homeowners who wanted to keep their homes? Three years of research has shown us that 8 out of 10 homeowners facing foreclosure just want to "...keep their homes..." (now whether or not that is really possible is another story, but for a minute, let's assume that it is).
I found that investors not offering multiple solutions to helping homeowners keep their homes were doing a disservice to both themselves AND the homeowner:
They weren't helping the homeowner explore the possibility of keeping the home, they were just trying to buy it. Often the conversation went something like this:
Homeowner: "Can you please help me stop foreclosure on my home?"
Investor: "Sure no problem, we can purchase the home and get you some cash"
Homeowner: "But I really want to keep my home"
Investor: "Well I can buy your home from you"
Homeowner: "No thanks, I want to try and save it"
Investor: "Sorry then, I can't help you. Goodbye"
They weren't helping themselves, because this is an inefficient use of their marketing budget. Think about it, if you can make the phone ring with a homeowner who is facing foreclosure, yet you don't have a solution to offer them, and more importantly, you can't monetize that, then you're not making the most of your marketing budget.
We finally solved this foreclosure puzzle, and our company, www.SaveMeFromForeclosure.com helps out homeowners, investors, and lenders, creating win-win-win situations for everyone involved. We took the company national last year, and we are committed to getting a local representative in every county in America!
We are looking for people to help us market our site in their local area. If you're interested, please contact me, or sign up for free marketing tips at www.BestForeclosureSystem.com
Happy investing,
Justin Lee
