About Me
I am a Maryland-based real estate attorney with one job:

I have 15 years experience as a lawyer and licensed title agent, and have my own real estate investments, so I understand the needs of real estate investors, as well as the "ins and outs" of creative real estate transactions, from marketing to analyzing to contract to closing.
Currently, I divide my time between managing The Law Office of Jeffrey P. Shiller, P.A., serving as general counsel for Crown Title Corporation, and acting as partner, general counsel and hard money specialist for Hard Money Bankers, LLC.
I have an “investor-friendly” legal/title practice and specialize in unconventional deals – short sales, land trusts, flips, subject-to, REO’s, etc. – and am a frequently invited speaker at title, investing and foreclosure seminars. I am also active with homeowner foreclosure protection laws and help investors and real estate professionals legally market, negotiate, document and close pre-foreclosure properties.
I am divorced and have an 8 yr old son that lives with me, along with 2 dogs and 2 gerbils. I love real estate and truly enjoy networking with and helping like-minded real estate professionals.

I DON'T SPECIALIZE IN SHORT SALES.
