Two Choices

What would you do? You make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fund raising dinner for a school that serves learning-disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question: "When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as... continue reading >>

YOU ARE SO BLESSED!!!

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your... continue reading >>

Just a little quote I found today! This helps me out when I get down and discouraged. Hope it does the same for you.

I'M TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED AND TOO ANOINTED TO BE DISAPPOINTED!

I refuse to be discouraged, to be sad or to cry.

I refuse to be downhearted and here's the reason why:

I have a God who is almighty; who is sovereign and supreme;

I have a God who loves me, and I am on his team.

He is all wise and powerful; Jesus is His Name; though everything else

FAILURE!!!!

Date: 07/16/2007 / Category: Business Strategies , Current Grade A

I've been going through alot of blogs today, and reading alot of articles that claim to say that failure is needed to grow your business.  There are alot of blogs about how you need to fail in order to move forward.

I don't believe this.  There is no such thing as failure as long as you don't give up trying.  Websters dictionary defines failure as:   nonperformance of something due, required, or expected.  So as long as you don't give up and your learning as you go, you will never fail.

Need help!!!

I have an offer on a property from a fsbo. I want to make sure that I get all the paper write. I don't think they know what they are doing. I'm buying it on a lease option. What kind of paper would I need, or what kind of paper work should they have so that the deal goes through nice and smooth.  If any one out there could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you (A) stay on the shortest, fastest direct routes, like
highways and freeways when you travel throughout your
city or do you (B) take the side roads through residential

maximize your opportunity to spot new single family house
deals?

Are you first spending your time (A) setting up your office,
ordering up business cards and writing a business plan
or are you (B) out scouring the city you live in, looking
for property deals?

When someone calls you on your "I buy houses" ad and
asks if you'll buy their home,... continue reading >>

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

"What food might this contain?" the mouse wondered. He was devastated to discover it was a mouse trap.

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning :
There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mouse trap in the house!"

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered... continue reading >>

Scams

Okay here's the deal!  Every time that I research anything dealing with real estate investing, there's always someone out there trying to sell me something.  I have bought at least 5 of the programs.  All of these programs want you to purchase more stuff from them, or they say it won't work.  I'm asking now, if any one out there knows of a program that works and will help me to get started.  I see all kinds of ideas on REI but don't know if any of them work.  Any advice would be appreciated.
