Hello,
I'm Jamie from Sycamore, IL. I have been interested in real estate all my life. As a child, I wanted to be an architect, but after 2 years in school in design I realized that what I really loved about the business was the history associated with each home everywhere. The kind of a "if these walls could talk" feeling that I get when I walk into an old home. It's a sort of romance I have with older places. I grew up in Florida and moved to Illinois when I was 23. The first house I lived in here was a old Victorian built in the late 1800's. It even had the original shower head and loose door knobs. It needed a lot of work, but it was one of the most beautiful homes I had ever been in. I decided at this point in my life and education, that my passions would be in one of two areas for business, Restoration Architecture or Real Estate.
My Business
I haven't yet begun my wholesaling adventure, but I am VERY anxious to get started. Right now I am trying to get a feel for the system and start some networking. I feel it is important to every business to have a good solid system of people to work with, that is why I am here. I would love to be involved in rehabbing, but I don't have the funds to get there yet. Someday!

Hello Jamie,
I think you're on the right track. Get your system in place. I believe wholesaling is the lowest risk and quickest method to jump start your REI experience. You can begin to build up your cash reserve and then possibly move toward your desire to rehab. Either way, hang on to your dreams. Let your passion fuel you. Don't ever allow anyone to say you can't do something. Because God planted the seeds of greatness inside of each and everyone of us.
