A little about me
I'm a full time single mom of a 4 year old, and I have an 18 year old that lives on his own in one of my apartments- (yes, he HAS to pay rent) and both boys work with me on rehabbing houses.
I am learning the business of wholesaling, and enjoying buying houses to lease option to people who dream of owning their own home.
I get into all of the process, from finding the deals, to rehabbing (with my new GREAT crew), and finding people to move in and fall in love with the house.
My joy in life is setting an example for my boys to make something happen in life, starting from nothing. We all learn it's hard work, not an overnight easy road to travel, but well worth the effort. My 18 year old is looking for the chance to buy his first house to fix up.
My other joy is to watch the faces of people moving into a home to take ownership where they never thought it would have been possible.

*being outside in springtime!
*checking out houses for sale! (we do this for a THRILL!).
*fishing when the fish are biting better than the mosquitos.
*reading a good book
*enjoying what everyday life brings my way.
Family
It's my boys & I!
My parents & siblings live within an hour away, in all different directions, so when someone asks me to go look at a house for them, I get an excuse to go visit someone!

About Me
I'm 42, single mom of two boys (18 & 4). After seeing that running a day care two shifts was going to be something that I didn't want to do the rest of my life, I started looking for other ways to keep my youngest at home. I found it by investing in properties and doing lease options on them. I currently have 12 properties in 5 different cities around my area. I am learning and growing as I go. It is important to me to gain as much knowledge as I can to avoid mistakes (costly ones) along the way.
I have just started working in wholesaling and learning the ropes in that area. If I ever get bored in realestate, I know there are many different ways to work the business, and enjoy learning a new nitch from time to time. Right now, I'm learning wholesaling.

Hi! My name is Jennifer Gross and I too am looking for a different way to stay at home with my youngest son. I have done daycare for 16 years and I have six children and 3 step children. My goal is to get my real estate investing business going so that we can work this as a family business and enjoy many years together as a family.
I would like to start by doing wholesaleing by assigning contracts. Do you have any recommendations of reading materials to get started. I have most of the Rich Dad Education books and have been to a seminar of theirs. I couldn't afford the larger seminars from the company and decided that I could learn this business by looking for someone on the internet that was willing to share ideas and be a mentor. I hope to find that in this site!

Just starting out and would love to be just like you...lol!! I too want to be a good example for my kids. How did you market yourself when you started out? Why did you pick the lease option route? Any help would be appreciated to get me moving towards my first deal.....Thanks in advance!

industry Dallas/Ft.Worth area. Many down town skyline building. I had
to go into real estate full time as a result of an auto accident
6/27/08. I was a typical guy always too busy to make any real
money. One good thing about the accident, I’ve been made to stay
put at home. This allowed me to spend much time on the internet.
I’ve seen all that I’ve been missing out on, my on growth as a person.
I hope to be a good neighbor, if I can give any idea’s as far as the
