A quick reminder of: Where Does Wealth Really Come From?

Date: 11/29/2008 / Category: Inspirational , Current Grade A

You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:17-18a

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

blog grading question?

Date: 10/03/2008 / Category: none , Current Grade A

Yesterday I graded a specific blog. Today it let me grade it again. Sometimes it lets me grade other blogs twice, other times it doesn't.

Does anyone know the answer to why this is?

Is this a software glitch or is it just a time date thing? You wait enough time and you can grade the same thing twice. Just wondering. Thanks.

Although the companies were still financially solvent at the time of the takeover, there was... continue reading >>

Why every one of us is in sales.

Whether we like the stereotypes of a sales people or not, whether we think being a sales person is a noble profession or if we think sales people can at times be an annoyance, we are all sales people at least on some level. (I myself lean toward it being a noble and honorable way to make a living.)

Every day we sell ourselves. We sell other people on whether or not they should communicate with us, trust us, rely on us, take confidence in us, network with us, or even do business with us.... continue reading >>

Just yesterday and as I write this a small country is being quickly destroyed. Georgia is being completely attacked and destroyed by Russia. Just turn on your International news and you can't miss it.

Please pray for a peaceful resolution and steps back towards peace for the country and citizens of Georgia. Ukraine may be next and is under possible threat now.

Thank you for your attention to this issue and your prayers.

God bless,
Joel

The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work.

A useful tip to reduce work stress overload.

One of the primary causes of mental stress is the frustration that results from an attempt to do "everything at once." The cure is to prepare a daily schedule of things to be done.

1. List the day's projects in order of importance or in order of unpleasantness.

2. Limit the list to the most important projects and include only enough items so that the total represents a reasonably possible program.

3. Tackle the most important or the least pleasant jobs first and finish each item on that list, resisting the temptation... continue reading >>

Woman Shoots Self Day of Foreclosure

I was watching CNN headline news early this morning and a freaky story of a different kind was reported:

A woman shoots herself on the very day of foreclosure. She managed the household finances, thus her husband did not have any idea that they were in such financial distress. It seems the bank was in the foreclosure process for forty two months. She faxed over a suicide letter to the mortgage company just hours before the home auction. People were even arriving at the home for the auction just after the suicide. She had written in the... continue reading >>

I swear I have not been drinking. lol

Can anyone please tell me why there are six different blogs of the exact same thing from six different member postings, each all with the exact same grades on each of the six blogs as of my posting this question?
Am I totally missing something? Why the repetition? <--(scratching head face)

Thank you,
Joel
