NC Wholesaler
My name is Alex and I'm a 23 year old real estate investor in Raleigh,NC. I've been reading up on real estate for the past 6 months but have yet to put together my first deal. I've dabbed into a little of everything...wholesaling, short sales, lease options, etc. I think the most challenging part about it all is sticking with one thing and devoting all efforts towards that thing.
I find my mind hurting after reading so much on the internet; trying to decipher what is good information and what could be passed by..at this point, wholesaling seems to be my main focus. I've recently learned about "Temporary Seller Financing" and plan to incorporate this with my wholesaling, if the program is legit. I'll keep everyone who's interested in my success ( or failure!)...updated!

It is hard to start given all the choices. The best advice is to narrow the focus and really work through the possible deals. Even if you have not closed a deal be an expert in all the transactions that have taken place in an area, how they were done and who is doing them. That will highlight where the real value is and what is working in the specific market. A related suggestion is to plug into the local REIA so you can hear what others are doing and thinking. They are your competition, your customers and the source of future deals.
