Who is Matthew Leitz?

If you were to make a sliding scale and put a serious business professional on one end and a wild fun-loving hippy on the other, I would fall somewhere in the middle on most days.  Other days you will find me pushing the limits on either end of the spectrum.

Why is he always smiling?

I have been blessed to have amazing people all around me.  My family is the most wonderful and supportive people a guy could ask for.  I live with my fiancee who is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me.  And our friends are the absolute coolest people on earth.  Life is good.

What does Matthew do for a living?

I have an internet based company called RealEstateInvestor.com with my business partner Colin.  The site is an online community that provides real estate investors networking opportunities, education and tools to make more money in real estate.  Additionally, we offer a series of educational products and put on national seminars.

What is Matthew’s specialty?

Good question.  Business wise, I generally work on whatever needs done the most for the company.  I am now focusing on internet marketing which is why you will find info on the topic in this blog.  More generally speaking, I believe my specialty to be interpersonal communications (at least that is what my degree says).

Where does Matthew live?

My girl Angela and I moved from Ohio to San Diego in the beginning of ‘09.  Our little apartment is conveniently located within a block of the beach, the bay, a park, a roller coaster, our health club and a strip of bars.  I don’t think we are going anywhere for a while.

What is “Blogging Entropy”?

I definitely struggled to name my blog as I still have not figured out what my primary focus is in life (probably because I get bored too quickly to have a focus).  The word “entropy” is a scientific term I learned in physics class that refers to the randomness of nature.  This is sort of the way my mind works, so I thought it was fitting.

What does Matthew do for fun?

I like to spend as much time with family and friends as I possibly can.  We love the action and you can find us at party spots ranging from the VIP section of upscale nightclubs to camping in tents at outdoor music festivals.  My newest hobby is surfing which I am absolutely loving it.

What else should we know about you?

I recently made the decision to go by Matthew instead of Matt in order to sound more important.  I work 70 hours a week, but plan to be semi-retired by 35.  When I am on conference calls for business I am generally standing with my feet in Mission Bay.  I once made a hole-in-one in golf, but it was after I had a mulligan so they said it didn’t count.
