Your overall credit score is determined by many different factors. There is no single factor that determines your finial score but its basically broken down somthing like this:

Payment History: About 40% of your credit score is how you pay your bills, if you’re late and how many times.

 

Revolving Credit History: About 32% of your credit score is based on your credit cards, how long you have had them.

 

Length of Established Credit: About 18% percent is the length of your established credit

 

New Credit: About 10% Is any new line of credit you open.
