From Our Ohana To Yours...

My wife and I are currently into Real Estate Investing/Landlord work. Thus the Business Name: "D & T HEGARTY, LLC" (Donovan & Tanya). We started Investing in early 2005 with our first 2 homes on a 1/4 Acre (12,000 square foot) lot. 2 homes for the price of one. 2 Homes on a single lot in Hawaii are called "Ohana Homes". MY TIP: We Rent these homes Fully Furnished with all The Appliances including the Washer & Dryer, Queen size beds, Full size beds both with Bed Spreads & Pillows, Sofa Sleepers, All Kitchen Decor & Utensils, Pots & Pans, Towel Sets, 27" Television, DVD Player, Home Stereo & etc. It's almost like "Vacation Rentals". Have a look at the picture albums to see how it looks! You'll be amazed! We rent it Fully Furnished due to the fact, if we ever have to Evict, or if the Tenants simply move out...All the tenants have is there own personal belongings, no appliances, sofa couches or beds to drag on the move out process...This in case, will make Evicting/Move Out very-very effecient. We do Real Estate Investing on a Full-Time basis and do the Property Management Ourselves. I buy fixer-upper homes at rock bottom prices and turn it in a few weeks and Rent it. Thank Goodness for Wal*Mart & The Home Depot for low prices.
In actuality, we started out Renting our Mother-in-Law Quarters Room in 1996 to a Pharmacist for about $400.00/month. That room was suppose to be my Pool Table / Dart Board Room & or Play Room.
Now, my Mother-in-Law resides in it...Coincidence? YIKES!!!!!
I own a total of "7" Homes. One of which is my Residence. The other Six are currently rented. Next project that the wife and I want to do is to "FLIP Homes" for a little Profit when the Real Estate Market Picks Up again!!! If it Sells, Light up the Stogie to Celebrate!!!!!
