Im a married man who also along with my wife have a little girl that is about to turn 3 years old. I work for UPS, but wanted to start into my own personal business so I can try to be self- dependent and not just rely on working for UPS for the next 40 sumpthing years for a comfortable lifestyle for me and my family.

Some good information... I may have stolen this from the Bible... "Ask and ye shall receive."
Information is out there. Every piece of information you need is available for free... From the internet to the libarary to your parents book shelves, it's available.
"What a man so thinketh, that he is."
Be careful what you say to yourself, because you will believe it. You are capable, smart, you think things through, and you can make this happen.
"The poor will always be with you."
Remember that your blessings aren't just for you. You are used as a catlyst to pass it on and help others.
Be motivated for your faith, your family, and yourself. Ask God for what you want, and use it for a purpose to serve Him better.
A good start for investors that don't have much money to invest is in wholesale. Find the definition and how to wholesale online, educate yourself vividly, get the right contracts (For free or get legal council), get passed the fear, and be successful. - the only thing stopping you is you.
I will leave you with two thoughts:

Replace the entertainment that you are currently involved in Music/Video Games/TV, and replace it with education. If you invest in yourself, others will too.
