Hey there. My name is Brian, I am a full time real estate investor in CT. My company is called Southeast Properties. My partner and I started this company a few years ago when we were just 18 years old. I was attending college and working another full time job as an assistant at a real estate appraisal office. I am pretty fortunate I had the job because I learned about the valuation of real estate in a heartbeat, and it has been an essential part of being an investor. So I had a decent job and I was breezing through school but there was a huge problem. I was extremely busy all the time and I didn't have much money. These were not the happiest times of my life. I was confused on what I wanted to do for a career. I knew that I enjoyed real estate but appraising it was not the route I wanted to take. It was eerily similar to writing a book report, and I have never enojoyed school work. I began to realize investing was the side of real estate that I wanted to be working in. I only had a couple thousand dollars in the bank so I had no choice but to sell my car if I wanted to get started investing. This was heartbreaking. I have always been into cars and I had a mustang gt that I was in love with, but off it went.. I knew I had to sell it to move forward with my plans. Starting out with very little money can be difficult, so I quickly learned that the easiest way to make some fast cash was by selling the contracts. I started doing wholesales after networking with a local rehabber who I met through a friend. Now that we have had the chance to build our capital and network, we do the majority of our investing in short sales and rehab properties. I have a great girlfriend named Megan who i spend most of my time with when I'm not working. Other than investing in real estate, I enjoy going on vacations and seeing as many new places as I can. I enjoy riding street bikes and atv's. I'm a huge baseball fan (Red Sox), I play tennis, basketball, love to snowboard, and play guitar.
