Greetings all. This is my first blog of the New Year. Hope everyone’s New Year was a good one. You’ll have to forgive me posting this blog as it is not entirely real estate related, however, it is tied to your life or more specifically the stress in your life and how it affects you and your business.

I’m doing some research on clutter and how it causes stress in our lives. Why you may ask? Because I’m writing an eBook on how to... continue reading >>

Looking for investors wanting to invest in one of the most stable markets in the US. You can buy properties all day long for under $20,000 that will cash flow $200 or more every month. Let’s do some math here.

You have $100,000 to invest.....

Your option in your market. Buy a $100,000 house and maybe get $500 a month in positive cash flow. Not bad. Tenant moves out. All cash flow lost!!

You buy 5 houses for $100,000 with $200 a month in positive cash flow. 5 x 200 = $1,000. ... continue reading >>

So I've been reading a book by John C. Maxwell called "Success 101" What every leader needs to know. If you think that real estate doesn't require you to be a leader, then you are in the wrong business. At the minimum, you have to be a leader to yourself. You have to motivate yourself, push yourself, and dedicate yourself to being successful.

I'm not saying you have to have the leadership qualities a kin to Patton or Donald Trump, but you do have to lead. So you're wondering what this has to... continue reading >>

Grading

Date: 10/08/2008 / Category: Need Advice , Current Grade A

Did the grading curve go up or something?  Why are there so many people giving C's and D's on post that don't even deserve it?  Or have I just lost that loving feeling with my post?  Just some food for thought.

If you guys didn't make it to REI Connect over the weekend, you missed probably the single greatest event of the year. All the top performers in the industry were there giving us three days of non-stop information.

I connected with dozens of investors and I'll even say "New Friends" at the event. Colin and Matt as well as all the REI.com members blew it away.

Thanks for an over the top, over delivered, more than deserved, mind exploding weekend!

Critics Wanted

I need feedback on two things.

1)  My selling website.

What do you like and dislike.

2)  My properties that are for sale.

Please look at the properties and all the info about them, including the video and price, and give me your comments.  Yes, I really really want your feedback.  That's how we learn you know.  The more comments the merrier.

I'm really getting tired of responding to post with a long thought out reply only to have it lost when I hit the preview button.  Because of timing out, server error, or whatever.

Twenty minutes of my life wasted......no problem.  I like typing just for fun.

Just a rant!  No response needed.

To answer or not to answer.

Date: 07/02/2008 / Category: Need Advice , Current Grade B

I would like to know how many people on here answer the phone from there marketing and how many use some sort of voicemail/answering service.

Also, of the ones who use some sort of voicemail service, do you use a local number or toll free number.  I would like to know what kind of experiences people have with both.
