Hello,
I have a quick question. GREAT articles by the way! I have a number of properties that I have secured by using "Lease Options". Most of them are "Sublet-ed" (If that is a word) via another lease option. I have received option consideration and monthly profit on each one, and am looking forward to the end profit as well.
My question is this: Can I assign "my" position to "another" investor enabling "them" to receive the monthly payments and back end profit?
When I bought from the seller's, I did it And(or) Assigns, and there was PLENTY of explanation in the contract talking about how I am able to lease, assign, sublet, option to purchase, sell, etc.........,
But now that I "Have" people in the properties with a Lease Option from me, I guess what I am wondering, is, can I do this? Can I assign "MY" profit position in this deal to another investor for a fee and be free from the whole thing if I do not care to lose the back end profit?
I hope this was not too confusing. Just something I have been wondering about, and never asked anyone.
